DAY1-LISBON/ÉVORA/REDONDO
This morning your rent a car will be dropped off for you at the hotel. Drive through the plains of Alentejo to Redondo via Évora, the Museum City of Portugal (World Heritage). Visit the Cathedral, Temple of Diana, Sao Francisco Church and the Chapel of the bones. Return to Redondo for overnight at the beautiful Convent of Sao Paulo no breakfast.

DAY2- REDONDO/MONSARAZ/VILA VICOSA/REDONDO.
Full day, to explore Alentejo; visiting Monsaraz, the Unique Fairy Tale Village all enclosed by Medieval walls, on to Vila Vicosa for the visit to the Summer Palce of the Royal Family. Return to Redondo for overnight at the Convent of Sao Paulo no breakfast.

DAY3- REDONDO/MARVÃO/CASTELO DE VIDE Continue to Marvão. Here you will be taken by the beauty of this hilltop medieval town crowned by its castle. Proceed North to Castelo de Vide. Visit what it used to be one of the Jewish towns of Portugal. Overnight at Hotel Garcia da Horta no breakfast or Pousada Sta Maria in Marvao with breakfast (if stay is up to 28 Feb 2005)

DAY4-CASTELO DE VIDE/TOMAR (or OBIDOS).
Depart to Tomar, drive along River Tejo, via, Almourol and its beautiful island castle. Tomar was, home of the order of the Tplars, in Portugal. Here you should visit the beautiful Covent of Cristo, with the most famous window in Portugal, considered the finest in Manueline style, overnight, in Tomar AT Hotel dos Templarios or Albergaria Josefa D’Obidos with breakfast.

DAY5-TOMAR/BATLHA/NAZARE/ALCOBACA/OBIDOS/TOMAR.
Depart Tomar for a full day visit to; Batalha, visit the magnificent, Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitoria, proceed to Nazaré, the most typical fishing village of Portugal, a must is a drive up to Sitio for the beautiful view of the beach, continue to Alcobaca, visit its Monastery, here you will see the tombs of Pedro and Inês, one of the most famous love stories a Portuguese will ever tell you… Last but not least is Obidos the fairy tale medieval village, with its white washed houses. A walking tour, through its coble stone streets as well as a walk on the walls is a must. Return to Tomar for overnight or to Obidos with breakfast.

DAY6- TOMAR/LISBON
Drive to Lisbon, drop off car. End of tour.
